MOT TESTING

If your vehicle is over 3 years old, you are by law required to have a valid MOT Certificate to ensure your vehicle meets the minimum safety requirements to be roadworthy. Driving your vehicle without an up to date certificate is against the law and may invalidate your insurance.

The MOT is carried out by a VOSA (Vehicle and Operator Services Agency) authorised Tester who will go through a comprehensive inspection of your vehicle with each test result recorded. Once your vehicle has passed all these inspections, we will issue you with a new MOT Certificate valid for the next 12 months.

If your vehicle fails the MOT test, we will advise you on the repairs along with the cost. We will also advise you on any items that are not quite a failure, but may need your attention.

For your MOT Testing requirements please contact us to arrange an appointment for your vehicle, we can collect your vehicle from your home/ place of work or you can drop it off or wait while it is being tested.

We currently MOT test:

• Class IV cars passenger carrying and light goods vehicles upto 3000kg
• Class VII light goods vehicles 3000kg to 3500kg

Don’t forget that we offer a free re-test should your vehicle fail the MOT test, so long as it is re-presented within 10 working days!
